What can I eat to stay in good Health?
To stay in good health, There is absolutely no need to go without any of the meals you enjoy. There is also no need to go hungry. A good diet can be both nutritious and delicious! There are many alternatives to most of the "bad" foods that are around today.
You may feel that there are too many “gurus” out there with numerous books about diets that the average person would have no chance of sticking to.
Some are poor designed and strict to the point of being ridiculous. I do believe though that it is possible to really enjoy your food and at the same time eat well and cut out stimulants and other undesirables simply by using some common sense.
A lot of foods can simply be replaced by a different healthier food. For example, Soya milk in place of cows milk, Soya protein instead of minced meat, Olive oil in place of butter, small amounts of fruit sugar (fructose) or xylitol (a herb sugar) instead of cane sugar.
Other examples are: Green tea/fruit and herbal teas instead of conventional tea and coffee, whole meal bread and pasta in place of white bread and pasta and jacket potatoes or oven roasted potatoes in place of deep fried chips, crisps or French fries.
To make it easy to follow a good diet, I have compiled meal suggestions for breakfasts, lunches and main meals and 50 recipes for both every day and special occasions.
